Information we collect

Business listings. Public business information such as name, address, phone number, website and the business's published email address, taken from the business's own website or provided by the business.
Accounts. If you create an account: your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
Inquiries. If you contact a business through a listing: your name, email, optional phone number and your message.
Reviews. Your display name, optional email, rating and review text.
Newsletter. Your email address and, optionally, your name.
Claims and payments. Information you give us to verify that you represent a business. Payments are processed by Stripe; we receive the subscription status and billing contact, not your full card number.
Technical data. IP address and basic request data used for security and rate limiting, and aggregated page analytics through Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights.

How we use it

To run the directory and show business listings.
To send your inquiry to the business you contacted. The business will receive your name, contact details and message.
To verify business claims, manage accounts and process paid plans.
To send the newsletter if you subscribed (every issue has an unsubscribe link).
To prevent spam, fraud and abuse.

Service providers

Cookies

We set one cookie when you sign in, to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.
